The general objective of the MARTEC project is to design and manufacture new products in precipitation-hardened martensitic steels with an excellent balance of mechanical properties, especially strength and toughness, with a view to manufacturing critical components for new high-pressure food processing technologies and highly demanding aeronautical applications. The project is led by ACERIA DE ALAVA with the participation of GAINZA FORGE. It also has the support of TUBACEX INNOVACIÓN, CEIT and AZTERLAN, agents of the Basque Science and Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI).
